• About Dr. Calabrese
In 2006, Dr. Calabrese was awarded Fellow status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is one of only seven dentists in the Scottsdale area to hold this prestigious honor. The culmination of this experience has placed him at the forefront of implant dentistry and allowed him to be recognized as one of “The Best Dentists in America” in 2006 and 2007. Crowns and Bridges: Crowns are very effective, common restorative dental procedures. Crowns are sometimes necessary to restore teeth that have a large filling or other problems. Bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth, with a prosthetic or “false” tooth.
Dentures/Partials: Dr. Calabrese creates full or partial dentures that look natural and fit securely. With dentures custom-crafted specifically for your needs, you will smile more comfortably, speak more clearly,
Digital x-rays: Digital x-rays are very safe and use much less radiation than traditional film x-rays and transfer the images of your teeth and mouth directly to a computer.
Full Mouth Restoration: A Full Mouth Restoration will result in a smile you can be proud of and will make you look younger!
A full mouth restoration requires a dentist that is skilled in many areas, and also understands and listens to your unique needs.
Implant Placement and Restoration: Dental implants are our procedure of choice for patients with missing, or severely damaged teeth due to disease or injury. Dr. Calabrese can also use dental implants to successfully lock down full and partial dentures, which can prevent sore spots, minimize food getting caught between dentures and your gums, inhibit bone loss, and reduce your need for denture powders and adhesives.
Invisalign: Instead of the silver wires you may be familiar with, Invisalign braces use clear “aligners” that fit snuggly over your teeth, which are practically invisible.
Oral Surgery: It is always desirable to preserve your teeth whenever possible, but there are times when you may have to have teeth extracted for any number of reasons.
Preventive Sealants: Dental sealants are a safe and effective way to reduce cavities.
Periodontal Therapy: Periodontal Therapy is designed to keep the tissue around your tooth – your gums – healthy and strong.
Porcelain Veneers: Veneers are also known as porcelain laminates, and can be used to correct a variety of dental problems, and can be part of your total smile makeover.
Root Canal Therapy: If you are experiencing the pain and discomfort of an infected tooth, root canal therapy is a way to avoid an extraction, and save your tooth.
Teeth Whitening: Your individualized successful dental tooth-whitening program may include office visits, dentist-grade home whitening kits – or any combination thereof.
Tooth-colored (white) fillings: Dr. Calabrese only uses tooth colored, or “white” fillings. These are metal-free fillings and long-lasting.
